I’m a qualified nutritional therapist and wellness coach based in Penarth near Cardiff, south Wales.
I help people with a range of health issues take back control of their wellbeing by changing their diet.

My approach to nutritional therapy combines the best of the science of nutrition with the art of naturopathy.
What does that mean?
Well, naturopathy assumes that the body is constantly striving to be healthy and that creating the right environment will allow the body to heal.

I became interested in nutrition back in 2003, when I was experiencing blood sugar slumps. I began reading about the problem and discovered that my diet was all wrong! Soon I started experimenting with a low GI diet and within a matter of days my blood sugar stabilised and my energy improved as did my concentration.
From that moment I was hooked on nutrition and in 2007 I started my nutrition practitioner course in London, qualifying three years later as a naturopathic nutritionist.
In 2010 I undertook an advanced diploma in nutritional healing and the following year I started my nutritional therapy practice. Since then, I’ve helped clients with a variety of problems, including digestive disorders, fertility issues, skin complaints and fatigue, just to name a few.

Nutrition Consultations – My Approach
Prior to your first appointment, I will ask you to complete an online questionnaire to take some basic details and help establish what you would like to work on.
At your first session, we will talk about your problem in a more detail and I will take a case history. We will then discuss your expectations from the nutritional therapy, your level of motivation and and any particular challenges you may face.
Based on these details, we will formulate an initial nutrition plan which includes foods to include, those to reduce or exclude and suggestions for meal plans. I will also look at your current ability and motivations to make changes to your diet, and I will advise a plan that suits your needs.
If you choose one of my nutrition packages, you will also benefit from email contact between appointments, providing extra support and guidance.
How Many Appointments Will I Need?
Most of my clients will have had their health complaints for some time, so we need to recognise that it may take a little time to reverse the problem. I also suggest clients make gradual changes to their diet to give them a realistic chance of implementing dietary changes and to avoid possible side effects of sudden diet changes.
With this in mind, I recommend a minimum of three appointments for most clients. More complex problems may require five or more appointments. Please see my packages offers for details.
