Anxiety is one of the most common mental health challenges in the UK, affecting approximately 8 million adults. It can range from occasional worry to chronic conditions like Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD) or panic attacks, impacting daily life, work, and relationships. Symptoms often include persistent nervousness, restlessness, rapid heartbeat, and difficulty concentrating.
If you’re living with anxiety, finding effective support can help you regain control and improve your wellbeing and quality of life.
I provide coaching sessions in-person at my practice near Cardiff or online using Zoom.

What Is EFT?
EFT – also known as Emotional Freedom Techniques or “tapping” – is a simple technique that helps the client release negative memories, emotions and feelings from the past and present, thereby lifting the burden of stress from the mind and body. EFT therapy is based on a combination of ancient Chinese medicine and modern psychology. By gently tapping on acupressure points on various parts the body, while focussing on a problem – be that physical, mental or emotional – the body is able to rebalance its energy system, thereby releasing the problem. How EFT Helps with Anxiety
Anxiety often triggers a heightened stress response in the body. EFT works by interrupting this cycle through tapping on meridian points linked to stress and emotion regulation.
This process helps:
- Reduce the intensity of symptoms and anxious feelings
- Release negative thought patterns
- Identify the underlying reasons for anxiety and helps release them
- Promote relaxation and emotional balance
- Improve sleep, concentration and overall sense of wellbeing
Many clients report significant relief after just a few sessions, making EFT an effective complementary approach to traditional anxiety therapies.
